Data Analytics Assistant Manager
As Data Product Manager / Assistant Manager, you will act as the primary contact between the data team and stakeholders, provide business communities with data-driven analytical solutions and manage the entire data product development process including data integration process and comprehensive analysis lifecycle.
Key Responsibility:
- Establish data product roadmap and growth opportunities pursuant to company directions
- Execute data product operations including control technical standards of data to be acquired, prepare data for continuity of and compatibility toward business demands, perform or manage data segmentation, assess data issues and provide solutions. This role would involve leading operations of data acquisition and enrichment projects
- Be accountable for data quality control and data operation improvement including developing models to test reliability of data, performing gap analysis, and analyzing diverse groups of data using set operations or other calculations, etc.
- Work with cross-functional teams, various stakeholders and management for the collaboration to align with company’s short-term and long-term goals
- Be able to translate business objectives, rules and processes to business requirements, design data-driven solutions and put into implementation and delivery
- Be an excellent communicator to identify and resolve all issues, supervise meetings and collaborate with teams to achieve all objectives with the most effective outcome. Turn technical languages into generally understandable communication
Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity. Employ statistical techniques to scrutinize data and produce actionable business insights - Act as a data product champion as required. Involve in training for users of data and supporting usage of data.
- Develop and maintain appropriate tracking and reporting of progress and feedback to evaluate future improvement. Ensure that assignments are delivered on time
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise operations to team members
- Provide training, motivating and coaching team members with helpful feedback and opportunities
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in a field emphasizing on quantitative Statistics, Data Science, Information Management, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 - 10 years of professional experience, with background in data management, data operations, data analytics, DMP, CDP, CRM, and/or data-driven digital advertising.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in project management and/or product operations.
- Experience with several computer programming languages, as well as advanced data model and data warehouse skills is preferred.
- Experience in creating and managing Business Intelligence Tools; Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
- Experience in working with media agencies, advertising agencies, data-driven firms, and/or consulting firms would be an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a proven track record of achieving business results using data driven solutions
- Be able to work under high pressure
