Standard Rabbit is available at all BTS Ticket Offices.
A Standard Rabbit is 200 Baht in total which includes 100 Baht issuing fee, and 100 initial Stored Value.
You can top up your Rabbit at any BTS Ticket Office as well as at the Authorized Top-up Service Provider. Click here to see all our authorized top-up service providers.
You can use your Rabbit on the BTS and other Transit Service Providers for single journeys and for passes. You may also use your Rabbit for purchasing goods and services from our retail Partners Find out more about how and where to use Rabbit Card
You can check the remaining Stored Value balance at all Rabbit Service Providers which accept Rabbit for payment including all BTS Ticket Offices.
The Rabbit Holder may request the Company to suspend the Rabbit only in the case that the Registered Rabbit is lost or stolen and the requesting Rabbit Holder must legally possess such lost or stolen Registered Rabbit. The suspension process and procedures shall be determined by the Company.Please also see Terms and conditions
If your Standard Rabbit or Special Rabbit stops working, you may contact any BTS Ticket Office or Authorized Service Center. For Corporate Rabbit or Co-branded Rabbit, you may need to contact the issuing Institution.
You can check the remaining Stored Value balance at all Rabbit Service Providers which accept Rabbit for payment including all BTS Ticket Offices.
If your Standard or Special Rabbit malfunctions, you can bring it to any BTS Ticket Office or Authorized Service Center. The Company reserves the right to charge a fee and/or not return the Deposit (if applicable) for Rabbit replacement/refund or not to replace your Rabbit according to the Company’s terms and conditions.In the case of Corporate or Co-Branded Rabbit, you may be directed to the issuing institution.
For Standard Rabbit, if you wish to refund the Deposit and Stored Value, you must return your Rabbit to any BTS Ticket Office or at the Authorized Service Center. In doing so, you accept that the usage of such Rabbit shall be absolutely canceled. In any case, you cannot refund only the Stored Value without returning the Rabbit to the Company.In case of unreadable Rabbit, the refund will be processed within 15 days. If the total of the Stored Value and the Deposit is not more than 250 Baht, you can apply for immediate refund at any BTS Ticket Office. If the total of the Stored Value and the Deposit is more than 250 Baht, you will need to apply for deferred refund at a BTS Ticket Office or Authorized Service Center and you will receive the refund within 15 days. Any negative value must be settled upon refund. If you wish to refund the Stored Value of your Special or Corporate Rabbit, contact any BTS Ticket Office or Authorized Service Center. A fee of 50 Baht will be required. Your Rabbit will be sent to the Company and you will receive the refund within 15 days. In the case of refunding the Stored Value of Co-Branded Rabbit, you must contact Bangkok Smartcard System Company Limited at 21 TST Tower, 19th Floor, Vibhavadi-Rangsit Road, Chomphon, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900 Thailand.
In order to minimize abuse and loss, the Company may suspend a Rabbit if it is suspected of being counterfeit, stolen, lost, tampered with or fraudulently issued or procured, or if the Stored Value on the Rabbit has been fraudulently or illegally revalued, or otherwise subject to the Company’s decision. The Company reserves the right to charge a fee of 50 Baht to reactivate a suspended Rabbit.
DO:
  • Top up your Rabbit before the Stored Value runs out
  • Hold your Rabbit steadily over a reader, and wait until there is a “beep” to ensure your transaction has gone through
  • Keep your Rabbit free from physical damage, stickers or other adhesives
  • Enroll in Rabbit Rewards for points collection and other member benefits.
DON’T:
  • Hold more than 1 Rabbit over a reader at the same time
  • Hold your Rabbit with other contactless cards over a reader at the same time
  • Move your Rabbit away from the reader too quickly – wait for the “beep” to make sure your transaction has gone through
  • Bend, write on, scratch, cut or paste something on your Rabbit
